Paul R. Borg, Jr., 57 years of age, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2014; Paul leaves behind the love of his life for 25 years, Patricia A. " Patte" (nee Biedar) & his precious daughter, Remington Riis, God's gift to Paul & Patte; Loving son of the late Paul R. Borg, Sr. & Marian E. (nee Seaholm) Borg; Brother of Robert (Peggy), Donald (Barbara) & the late Richard (Anne) Borg & uncle to their children; Loving son-in-law to Patricia A. "Pat" & the late Bruce A. Biedar; Fun-loving brother-in-law to Sherry L. (Dave, CPD) Eshoo & Bruce W. (Dana Dressler) Biedar; Special uncle to Eric "Eric the Great" Eshoo & Emily "Emily the Empress" Eshoo. Founder & owner of Riis Borg Construction Company of Chicago. He was elected to the Executive Council & appointed Chairman of the Grounds Committee of Big Foot Country Club. He was recognized and named "Big Chief" in 2013, an honor bestowed by members who have rendered extraordinary service to the club. Paul was a self-made entrepreneur, a dedicated, passionate & highly respected businessman in the construction industry. Paul worked with order, peace, moderation and patience. He had a passionate love for the game of golf, which he shared with his wife & dear friends. Paul was a model of all who are dedicated to labor, obtained the grace to work in the spirit of love, & faithfully placed responsibilities above his own desires. Family and friends are asked to gather on Monday at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 320 Washington St., Park Ridge for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
