Tom -

Thanks for taking the time to put this site together. I'm hoping the word will spread and it will be a huge success.

Tom,

Thanks for you Steve and the rest of you guys for taking the time and effort to put this together. I think our class was very special and I know why-it was people like you that put forth the effort. Keep up the great work and I am looking to see everyone again.

David

Hey guys!
This is great. I agree that "classmates.com" got to be a pain with it's annual $$membership fee although it remains a great portal to finding people. I've had the good fortune to visit with some of my favorite friends from '74 and it's been so great. Most recently, we had lunch with Debbie and Kenny Gehab on our way to Tahoe. Facebook has allowed some other connections, too. Joyce Nelson found me and then I found Diane Merritt through Joyce. Lot's of us use that site (thanks to our kids) and it's fun to see each other's pictures. Finally, it's so nice to know that no matter what kind of person we were as teens, we all grow up eventually and are pretty great people!

To Tom and all participating friends:

Thank you for establishing this great web-site. This is what keeps us all together and close. It's so nice to be able to reconnect with our classmates. Between this and Facebook (thanks to my 2 son's), I'm very grateful to have found so many wonderful H.S. friends. For me, this has come at the most perfect time in my life right now. I am looking forward in sharing happy moments with everyone at our 35th reunion!

Just found this again. It was great to see Sheila Matthew Wales when Diane Merritt came in to town. Thanks Doug for putting that little get together together. Hope to see allot of you folks in September.

Regarding Tom Willey and being suspended, I think it was because you were standing outside Mrs. Carma Johnson's class widow using expletives that one should not share in mixed company. I believe you may have had some adult beverages the night/morning before.

P.S. Happy Birthday Tommy B.

Does anyone have a copy of the addendum to the 74 yearbook? It was a soft cover booklet to add to the yearbook from pictures that were submitted too late to make it into the hard cover.

Hi Guys!!!

We had our first meeting for the BIG 40th Reunion last night!  And I still haven't fallen asleep yet!  It's just after 8am.  Anyway, we had a great time, as we always do.  We pretty much decided on September, but are working on many great ideas as what to do and where to do it!  So many venues in different price ranges and areas.  Palatine vs the City or other areas, etc? Much more to accomplish on that account.  Please feel free to send your ideas, we will take them all seriously.

Please keep trying to locate missing classmates, as that is always the hardest most time consuming project.  If each of us found just one person, it would double our totals!!!

Take care and we'll see you at the next Meeting, rumor has it, it will be held at the Bullens!!!

Thanks for putting this together.

One of the people on the "missing" list is Kurt Mische, who is a PBS executive in Reno, NV. I have hime as a Facebook friend, but I don't know his email address.

And I'm also one of those who either never submitted a senior picture for the yearbook, or submitted it late. It's not like I can remember that detail after 40 years.

I'm hoping to make the reunion - thanks for yourwork to pull it together.

Just a note of thanks to the Reunion Committee for an excellent 50th event!     It was a treat seeing everyone and I left town this morning feeling the same way I felt when I graduated 50 years ago:    blessed and proud to be a member of the Fremd Class of 1974.     Best to all and again, much appreciation to the keepers of the flame!

To the Reunion Committee:

Thank you for all the hard work, time, effort and passion you all put into to this phenomenal event. We are so lucky and blessed to have such dedicated friends and classmates from FHS Class of '74 that have put together our reunions through the past years.  Our 50th anniversary,  for me,  is climbing the chart to the number one spot for best reunion! I wish I could have spent more time with more people, but the weekend flew by in a wink of an eye, just like the past 5 decades! This is one of those special occasions that I will treasure for a long time to come. Thank you to everyone who traveled from a distance as well to make this a memorable celebration.

Thank you to anyone involved with creating our wonderful 50th Reunion! Time is so precious, and your giving gave opportunity for more great memories.  If we know each other or not, we are all experiencing these passing years together.

God bless everyone.....wherever you are!

Reunion Committee:

Once again all of you put on a great event. It was great visiting with all of our old friends and catching up on where they are in their lives.  We can't thank the committee for doing enough. I think this was our 10th reunion and it appears we have the process down pat!  Again,  thanks for everyones participation.  Be safe and healthy.
