I was one of those high school drop-outs, left Illinois toward the end of Junior year (became pretty alienated from the high school scene, not sure all the reasons why), went traveling, lived in Europe, eventually made my way to the west coast, got my G.E.D., went to college, married, started my business while raising my family. Divorced in 2005. Am currently involved in a large expansion/remodel at my store. I live on a beautiful island and love being surrounded by mountains, ocean, wildlife and a wonderfully supportive community. I do a fair bit of travelling, including China occassionally for business. With the magic of the internet and facebook, I have been enjoying reconnecting with old friends and loved ones. I became a grandmother in June of 2009 to Emiliano who, of course, is the most adorable grandbaby on the planet, of course. There it is in a very small nutshell. Life is challenging at times, but good.

"Live life fully while you're here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself, your family, and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes. Don't try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human." ~ Anthony Robbins

School Story:

I mostly stayed on the sidelines in high school. I liked everyone and they seemed to like me but I never really entered into the culture of it all....always seemed to hear the beat of a different drummer, I guess. I do sometimes think of the really nice kids I knew at Fremd and lately have been curious as to what happened with some of them.
