Comments:
After high school graduation I attended The University of Iowa undergrad and The University of Iowa Dental school where I received my D.D.S. degree. I came to Iowa as a young co-ed and left Iowa as a wife and mother of two daughters. My husband Mark and I, along with our girls, moved to Grand Rapids Michigan in 1984. Mark is an anesthesiologist here in town and I took early retirement from dentistry to raise our daughters-our third arriving in 1986.
Since then I have done a lot of volunteering at the hospital, at the girls schools, and other various places.
The last two years I have been planning three weddings--the result of which makes Mark and I in-laws (We now have three wonderful son-in-loves) as well as official empty nesters! Five years ago we built a cottage up in Glen Arbor MIchigan (Near The Sleeping Bear National Park) where we escape as often as we can to do some tandem bike riding as well as just relaxing. I love to knit and read!
